INDUCTION OF 2016 PICAM OFFICERS & BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Last February 18, 2016 at the Hotel Jen, the new set of Officers and Trustees of PICAM for 2016 took their oath.  The newly elected trustees are  Engr. Rodolfo R. Peñalosa (President), Atty. Arthur P. Autea   (Vice President), Architect Felicitas A. Pio Roda (Secretary), Mr. Joven B. Joaquin (Treasurer), Dr. Ernesto S. De Castro (Auditor), Atty. Victor P. Lazatin (P.R.O.), Engr. Salvador P. Castro  Jr. (Business Manager); Atty. Custodio O. Parlade (Legal Counsel), Atty. Eduardo R. Ceniza (Trustee), Atty. Roberto N. Dio (Trustee), Atty. Lourdes J. Espinosa (Trustee), Engr. Wilfredo H. Guerzon Jr. (Trustee),  Atty. Jesusito G. Morallos (Trustee), Atty. Ricardo P.G. Ongkiko (Trustee), Atty. Mario E. Valderrama and Dr. Primitivo C. Cal (Ex-Officio).

 

No less than the Chairman of the Commission on Audit, Atty. Michael G. Aguinaldo presided over the oath taking of the officers and trustees.  Chairman Aguinaldo invited PICAM to assist COA in its campaign to monitor infrastructure projects and to safeguard Philippine coffers.  This invitation was likewise extended to the members of the Philippine Contractor’s Association (PCA), Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), The Society of Philippine Electrotechnical Constructors and Suppliers Inc. (SPECS) and Credit Management Association of the Philippines (CMAP) who were present during the induction.        

 

As a tribute to the late Atty. Alfredo F. Tadiar, a luminary in arbitration, who passed away last December 4, 2015, past President Primitivo C. Cal presented a posthumous award to his widow Dr. Florence Tadiar and children, Aisha, Carlo and Alfredo Jr.   “Tata Fred’ as he is fondly called, will be truly missed.
